Vintagelayot

This is a layout made for ARTasticchallengeblog October challenge.  You were to get inspired by a painting called 'The green parasol' (1912) by E Philips Fox and the criteria for the work was vintage style. It's a lovely painting and I directly thought about my 'Vintage garden' papers

The photo that I have used is of my grandmother and a few of her siblings. Two of them were not born yet and three had died before the age of 1. My mothers mother is Märta, the second from the right. Unfortunatly their mother died due to her last childbirth in 1930. She gave birth to eleven children. Her name were Karin (1887-1930 ) and their father were called Karl (1889-1965)

All the paper are from the  'Vintage garden' collection from Pion design except the pictureframe which is from another of Pions collections 'Flower frames'  The big blue flower are from Prima and I also made two flowers myself with help of a die.
